PerfectLum Suite helps to improve Dental Care in Sweden

In the same way as Radiology departments within hospitals have converted from film to digital X-ray images for diagnostics, this technology is now also widely implemented for Dental Clinics.

In Sweden Dental Care is split about 50/50 between Private and State operated clinics. The State Dental care (Folktandvården) is organized in 21 regions, where a typical region has some 30 local clinics with an average of 10 dental chairs each.

Over the past year Folktandvården has installed more than 3,000 Olorin VistaLine monitors for X-ray viewing along with PerfectLum Suite server and client software for calibration and quality monitoring. The Olorin monitors are equipped with an integrated front luminance sensor which enables fully automatic calibration controlled from the PerfectLum Suite server software.

With the monitors calibrated by PerfectLum Suite, the dentists are assured of always having a correct image to make their judgements from, thus improving quality in their work

The ability to set up calibration and monitoring tasks from a central PerfectLum Suite server contributes to a large cost saving as compared to visiting each clinic to perform these tasks. Based on history and statistical reports from the tasks performed, the Quality Control department at the regional head office now has tools available to make sure that all Olorin monitors are functioning correctly.

Total Control

With PerfectLum Remote Management a system administrator can calibrate and verify all displays in multiple hospitals and radiology practices from a single location. Via a well structured tree menu you have access to all information about any workstation and display. If there is a problem with a display – e.g. failed calibration or quality control test – you will be informed about the display’s status on the home page.

Scheduling of Tasks

There are overviews of due tasks for every workstation and display with the possibility to add or delete tasks like display calibration or white level check, etc.

Reports, History and Statistics

Reports and history with results of any test can be viewed  at any time using PerfectLum Remote Management application.

For every display there is an extensive statistic section with over time curves of white and black points, AAPM deviation, display working hours, etc.

Asset Management

PerfectLum remote control does not only allow you to maintain the quality of your displays, but is also a helpfull partner in tracking and managing your assets. All displays can be searched for serial numbers and model numbers or inventory numbers.

1. QUBYX will take reasonable steps to keep personal information collected from individual customers (such as name, address, occupation) secure and confidential.
2. QUBYX will not give or sell our individual customers’ personal information (such as name, address, occupation) to any outside organization for use in marketing, or solicitation of others’ products or services. Our individual customers’ information may be shared with agents, contractors or affiliates of QUBYX for the purpose of providing services to QUBYX.
3. QUBYX may, from time to time, send our customers information about products or services we believe may be of interest to our customers.
